The Cupertino Historical Society + Museum may be small, but it still takes many people to keep it functioning well. We need more volunteers to keep all our programs working smoothly. We also need some volunteers to provide short term help with specialized skills so we can continue to perform to current civic standards. Members who are experienced with our organization are asked to volunteer some time to staff a booth at the City of Cupertino Volunteer Fair so that we can recruit more helpers to our programs. On Saturday October 1, we need three members to recruit volunteers from 9:30 to 11:45 and three more from 11:45 to 2:00. We really need your help to get more help.

Augmented Reality Workshop

We are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Office of our wonderful Mayor Darcy Paul, Chinese Historical Society of America and their dynamic leader Justin Charles Hoover, the incomparable De Anza College, and our amazing teacher and friend Mark Hellar. Today’s workshop was super engaging and fun—we received so much positive feedback from participants, who ranged in age from middle school to retirees! If you came today, let us hear from you! We would also like to give a special shout out to the City of Cupertino City Council, all of whom came to show their support—Councilmember Moore even tested out her 3D scanning chops! All in all, today was a wonderful day thanks to the collaborative efforts of so many amazing individuals. Thank you, all! #WeAreCupertino
